The graphic design and typesetting of Alenka Vávrová’s collection of poems Three Quarters to Death combines respect for the conventions of book editing of poetry with a reflection of the author’s distinctive, unclassifiable approach. Three Quarters to Death is not a gloomy book; on the contrary, it is a celebration of all that we experience in life, which is underlined by the black and white illustrations by Jiří Slíva and the innocently pink cover.
